Radowg Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner
9/15/2025

Because dogs deserve a holiday plate, too.
Let’s be honest: your dog’s already RSVP’d “YES” to Thanksgiving. Those eyes. That nose. The hovering under every elbow.
This year, skip the puppy-dog eyes at the table and give them a plate of their own — Radowg Turkey as the main course, dressed up with festive toppers, and even dessert. Simple, safe, and totally drool-worthy.
🍽️ Radowg Thanksgiving Menu for Dogs
Today’s Specials:
🦃 Star of the Bowl: Radowg Turkey — juicy, nutrient-packed, and biologically appropriate.

🥧 Dessert: Pumpkin & Apple “Pie” — no baking, all drool-worthy, with a hint of Greek yogurt and a drizzle of raw honey.
Dig in, wag your tail, and enjoy a Thanksgiving made just for dogs.
Radowg Turkey: The Star of the Bowl
Move over, human turkey — this bird is for the dogs. Our Radowg Turkey blend isn’t just meat; it’s the whole package: juicy muscle meat, calcium-rich bone, nutrient-dense organs, and yes, even the skin (hello, natural fats and flavour). Together, they deliver:
High-quality protein — strong muscles, tissue repair, overall bodily functions, sustained energy (including all-day zoomies).
Calcium and phosphorus — healthy teeth and bones.
B vitamins, zinc, and selenium — shiny coats and immune support.
Nutrient-dense organs — significant protein, essential B vitamins (like B12, folate, niacin), minerals (iron, zinc, selenium, copper), fat-soluble vitamins (A, D), and compounds like CoQ10 and choline.
Natural fats from skin — shiny coats, energy to play host all night, satisfying mealtime, and nutrient absorption.
Think of it as a holiday feast in one bowl — biologically appropriate, nutrient-rich, and tail-waggingly good.
Tail-Waggin’ Thanksgiving Toppers for Dogs
For an extra-special holiday, you can dress it up with some selections from our specially curated topper menu your dog can safely enjoy:
Safe (in moderation, plain and unseasoned):
✅ Turkey — plain, uncooked, unseasoned, perfect as a holiday main.
✅ Pumpkin — great for digestion, plain cooked or purée, skip pie filling with sugar/spices.
✅ Carrots — crunchy, sweet, loaded with beta carotene, raw or cooked.
✅ Green Beans — steamed or raw, no butter/salt, low-cal and filling.
✅ Apples — remove seeds and core (contain cyanide), thin slices make a crisp topper.
✅ Butternut Squash — cooked plain (no butter/salt/seasonings), gentle on tummies, sweet, fiber-rich, pup-approved.
✅ Sweet Potatoes — steamed/baked plain, packed with fiber and vitamins.
✅ Cranberries — fresh or plain cooked, safe and healthy, just tart, great antioxidant boost.
✅ Fresh Garlic (in moderation) — immune and parasite support.
No (common Thanksgiving add-ins = nope):
❌ Mashed Potatoes — potatoes aren’t the problem, but butter, cream, salt, garlic/onion are too rich and seasoned, can upset stomachs or worse.
❌ Stuffing — loaded with onions, garlic, butter, spices, definitely a no.
❌ Onions & Chives — toxic to red blood cells (hemolytic anemia), off the menu.
❌ Chocolate (esp. dark & baker’s) — contains theobromine, causes vomiting, seizures, or worse, toxic effects scale with dose and dog size, save wrapper and call vet/poison line if exposure happens.
❌ Grapes & Raisins — even tiny amounts can cause kidney failure, absolute no.
❌ Alcohol — even small sips are toxic, dogs don’t need “a little taste.”
❌ Xylitol (in sugar-free baked goods) — extremely toxic, can cause seizures and liver failure.
❌ Cranberry Sauce — fresh cranberries are safe in moderation, but processed sauce with added ingredients is unsuitable for canine consumption.
❌ Gravy or butter-heavy dishes — can trigger stomach upset, may contribute to pancreatitis in susceptible dogs, keep the feast lean and plain.
❌ Cooked bones (turkey drumsticks, wings) — can splinter, cause mouth/GI injuries or blockages, stick to usual safe chews, raw only for bones!
🤔 Myth Zone (not as scary as the internet says):
✅ Garlic gets a bad rap from extreme lab studies using unrealistic doses (e.g., 34 cloves a day for a Golden Retriever), real-life portions can support digestion, immunity, deter parasites, moderation and knowledge matter.
👍TL;DR: If it’s seasoned, sugary, boozy, chocolatey, raisin-y, onion/garlic-y, bone-y, or buttery… it’s human only.
Radowg Pumpkin & Apple “Pie” Dessert
No baking required, because your dog deserves a holiday treat that’s as easy as it is drool-worthy.
Start with a base of smooth, plain pumpkin puree, then crack a fresh egg right on top — let your dog admire it, or gently mix it in for extra protein. Add a few crisp apple slices for sweetness and texture. Top it all with a dollop of plain Greek yogurt (our stand-in for whipped cream), drizzle lightly with raw honey, and finish with a sprinkle of raw pumpkin seeds for that satisfying crunch.
Honey is optional; skip for diabetic or tiny dogs.
It’s festive. It’s safe. It’s biologically appropriate. And yes… It’s 100% tail-waggingly good.
